Lynden High School Alumni of the Year is selected annually by the Lynden Alumni Association. Nominations are received at the June meeting with selection completed by August 31. The selected recipient is honored at Lynden High School’s Homecoming Assembly in the fall and spotlighted in the winter newsletter of the Lynden Alumni Association.
Criteria:
- Graduate and positive representation of Lynden Schools
- Personal integrity; highly ethical and morally sound
- Outstanding achievements in nominee’s specialization
- Positive impact/contributions in local, state, or global community
- Inspiration to others
